Oostpoort Keramiek started in 2018 in a rented room near the Oostpoort, with one kiln and two painters. Today we are a team of five who make about nine hundred pieces a year.
We work with local clay, cobalt oxide and lead-free glazes, and we sign every plate on the back. We believe a handmade object should be used, not kept in a cupboard.
